CS-Cart "Custom Redirect" add-on automatically redirects customers from the 404 pages to the custom page, that is specified by an administrator. By default, all 404 error pages go to a homepage. The administrator can change the target page in the add-on's settings.
Shoppers are informed about the redirect with the notice on the top of the screen!
What is 404 error?
404 error means that the required page doesn't exist anymore! People see this error and often close website. To prevent shoppers from leaving the store so soon, you can offer them another page for browsing (home page, catalog page or any custom page).Try to interest and motivate them browsing your store longer.
"Custom Redirect" add-on is a simple way to handle 404 error pages by using 301 redirects.
Compatibility:
- The add-on works correctly in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome and Opera latest browser versions.
- The add-on is compatible with CS-Cart v.4.
ATTENTION
The add-on Custom Redirect doesn't works with Full Page Cache.
