The CS-Cart Addon "Rounding of decimals" minimizes decimal rounding errors related to calculation of order sets and VAT. For all Greek stores that use VAT-free prices and adds VAT to the store.
Rounding error is the difference between the calculated approximation of a number and its exact mathematical value due to rounding.
CS-Cart adds small amounts of error (0.01) to some calculations, which are usually not obvious. These errors can accumulate in your orders, resulting in inconsistencies in the totals.
This add-on extends the accuracy of decimals in your database from 2 (CS-Cart default value) to 4 and adds 2 new options: "Value Decimals", the number of decimals to be displayed in the values and "Decimal Calculation", which is the number of decimal places for calculation accuracy.
With this new option, you can now increase the value for the "Decimal" option (used in calculations) to 4 for more accuracy.
